Love your vlogs! Im watching from Secrets Cap Cana at the Preferred Pool! Watched all of your vlogs on this property before coming here and they got me so excited about visiting here. About to go check out the main pool after lunch. You 2 seemed to have such a good time there during your stay. Just love the vibe at this resort!

You mentioned this resort reminds you of Elegance in Costa Mujeres, which immediately came to my mind upon first view. What we loved so much about that resort were the club lounges with quick grab and go options, as well as having a grand lobby with a large sized bar where we spent most evenings drinking, socializing and listening to live music. Were there many options throughout the day for snack/lunch besides the a la carte seafood restaurants? Is the buffet ever open for lunch and dinner? Would you say there is a bar open late night maybe with some entertainment other than the sports bar? Thanks!

Just got back from 10 days in a garden view swim up with Aqua Club. So worth the upgrade. Would not want to be on the construction side. Try to stay in buildings 2,4,6. Construction on garden side building 3,5,7. Thanks for all your great tips.

Great review from you guys as always! I'm considering Cap Cana and Planet Cancun. Here are my ratings from January 2024 Favorite meal: Hibachi it was better than what I've had in Vegas and Miami. SHOCKING. Favorite Drink: Coco Loco w/ Barcelo 2 shots or pineapple mimosa Favorite Bar: Sports Bar Room VIP Swim up: The lights annoyed me as well as the AC, I woke up sweating lol. We did have a mildew smell in our room, just not as bad as Secrets Impressions or TRS. What would I change: They need an app! More day time entertainment (noon -ish), I completely agree. You cannot change your card with the one you booked with as payment is due 72hrs before arrival. More restaurants like their sister property in Cancun. I didn't hear much construction from the sister property they're building next door. Overall Rating: 8/10

Great video you guys. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (ramps? golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (is. from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much h, Steve S.

They do have golf carts but it’s a very small resort, so you may not need the assistance. You could also rent a scooter if needed.

Planning to go here on the last week of November! Was reading many reviews on Trip Advisor, one thing they talked about was the noise? Either with construction or late partying, did you notice that at all and should we be worried? Would love to hear your thoughts! Love the review! Gave me lots to go off of!

No, but if you have a garden view room booked I would expect noise from construction!

Yes to both. I wouldn’t use the machine ice in a drink, but I wouldn’t ice machine ice for drinks from any hotel - home or abroad.
