Mossad, CIA and MI6 funded and trained them. They wanted to overthrow Assad to destabilise Iran and stop the route used by Iran to get arms to Hezbollah and also give arms to Hamas. The Palestinian resistance now has no access to weapons. You'll find that Jolani (or whatever his real name is) will not carry on into golan heights, will not fight the IOF and will do nothing to help the Palestinians from their genocide. It's shocking how little the Muslim community know about how the "rebels" are backed and funded by Israhell and US. They've even had Ukrainian soldiers sent to help them. Do not forget Jolani is the former deputy to Al Qaeda, then Isis, and now leading this newly termed "HTS."

The situation in Syria can be characterized as a regime change akin to the events in Libya, rather than a traditional civil war (Operation Timber Sycamore). Various groups are being utilized by the United States, Israel, and Turkey in an effort to remove President Assad and replace his government with one that is more aligned with American interests. The overarching objective appears to be the reduction of resistance to U.S. and Israeli influence in the Middle East. This strategy has evolved through a series of aggressive actions, initially targeting the Palestinian territories, followed by Lebanon and now Syria. Concurrently, military operations have occurred in Yemen, Iraq, and Iran. Prior instances of intervention include Libya, Sudan, and Somalia, all aimed at undermining Iran's regional allies. Once these allies are sufficiently weakened, further military action against Iran is anticipated. The intended consequence of reducing the strength of resistance movements in the Middle East also seeks to diminish the influence of Russia and China in the region. It is presumed that these efforts will undermine the BRICS coalition and hinder its expansion as well as any momentum toward de-dollarization. From a regional perspective, control over Syria would serve to impair Hezbollah's capabilities by disrupting the transfer of weapons and personnel from Iran to the group, thereby affecting its strength and potentially leading to a broader destabilization in Lebanon. It is important to note that there is a lack of substantial legitimate opposition to President Assad, as much of the conflict appears to be orchestrated by intelligence agencies such as the CIA and Mossad. These entities perceive a significant challenge to their established order in the Middle East from Iran and its allies, as well as from Russia in Europe and China, along with North Korea in Asia. Ultimately, successful outcomes for the U.S. could result in enhanced control over energy resources in the Middle East, facilitating supply to Europe (as illustrated by initiatives like the Nabucco West Pipeline and the Qatar-Turkey Pipeline), thereby diminishing Russia's role as an energy supplier. Additionally, these developments may support the preservation of the petrodollar. This strategic reconfiguration of the Middle East would enable the U.S. to redirect its focus towards Asia and engage in efforts to counter China, using Taiwan as a focal point, much like the strategy employed in Ukraine against Russia. This crisis extends well beyond Syria and encompasses a complex array of geopolitical considerations and objectives.

What axis of resistance? If their were one iran and hesbolah would not have betrayed asad. As far as i am concerned it is only hesbolah abd yemen that are in the resistance. Iran iraq and asad are just jokers.

Iran financed and armed the whole thing. Syria kept the supply routes open. It's unfortunate that Muslims are so naïve as to believe either Turkey or Israel will allow a hostile govt to take root in Syria. When it descends into chaos, the same muslims, from the comfort of their homes in England, will find a way to blame it on someone else.

Erm, you do realise that Erdoğan is a zionist. He did the deal with Israhell to fund the former Isis soldiers to overthrow Assad. The means by which Hamas got weapons has now been shut. So no, Palestinians will definitely not be helped.

Well I just watched his show earlier, and he wasn't crying, but he was explaining how the Palestinian resistance has been left isolated now. Maybe you should watch it to understand that he is no supporter of Assad, but he he is no supporter of Israel/US backed Isis fighters either.

@aisharoberts2583 erm Jowlani is literally the former deputy of isis. He can't fight himself, can he? The US has a bounty on his head ironically. You just need to do a little research, and you'll even find videos of him beheading people in Iraq as well as Syria. Just because they've "re-branded" doesn't stop them being isis.

@@palestinenotisrael3088 Hezbullah have kept the pressure on Israel re Gaza. All the while Sunni governments did NOTHING. Gaza was armed and defended by Hezbullah and Iran. The sunni cowards never lift a finger for Palestine except turn up to demo's ..there are also Palestinian Christians but 7th century head chopper arseholes hate them. Assad was part of the resistance and unlike his father and maybe because he is a doctor he tried to keep the factions apart ..but ...when western backed Al Qaeda ISIS were weaponized to do Israels dirty work...as happened in Libya and Iraq ...Assad cracked down on them. Syria was kept as a secular country for all its people. Now it will be balkanized and now Netenyahu is free to carry out the slaughter of Gaza since the axis has been shattered.....
