LIVE AT KABOOM

Here is a mix I made back in 1998. I call it Live @ Kaboom.
Kaboom Nightclub in Chicago was a well-known hotspot in the 1980s and early 1990s, attracting a diverse crowd for its lively music and unique ambiance. Located in the Near West Side of the city, Kaboom became a central part of Chicago's nightlife, hosting famous DJs and themed parties that blended various music genres, from house to New Wave.
The club was celebrated for its innovative decor and immersive dance environment, where the latest in music, fashion, and technology intersected. Kaboom was a place where creative expression thrived, drawing in artists, musicians, and celebrities from across the country. Its impact on the Chicago club scene was significant, influencing future venues with its eclectic mix of sounds and styles.
However, like many iconic clubs, Kaboom eventually closed, but it left a lasting legacy in Chicago’s nightlife history, remembered fondly by those who experienced its electric atmosphere.
