I've seen this incredible band so many times, but these shows remain among my favourites for how much healing they brought me at the time. The world is better with these thoughtful, compassionate people in it, creating music that speaks from and to the heart and they are at their best live.

This band is one that I will always go see live if I have the opportunity. The energy is just incredible in the crowd, and especially in the band. I saw them at the Coke Stage for Stampede a long while ago, and I was going through some stuff. That show made me cry so hard, and I had one of the most incredible experiences of my life there. So glad July Talk is still going and creating.

Was there both nights. Each was incredible. But I’m glad I was on the floor. For all its beauty, Massey Hall has this horrific effect on audiences that makes them think they have to sit down the entire show, even for JULY TALK! You can see it in this video.
