@@GrayContrast the main thing that really improved my sound quality was getting two alesis nanocompressors. one is sidechaining my looper output to the kick and snare, the other is on the main mix gently gluing everything together. recording into the zoom f3 helped too.

Thank you 🙏🏻 Some people def seem oblivious but to the left off camera were a group of people who sat and watched the whole time. I gotta find a better way to showcase the crowd but I can’t really work the camera while I’m focused on the music. I might get someone to film next time I play so I can capture more of the environment instead of just one static shot.

If that mall's (or any other's) management had any commercial know-how, they would arrange to have this piped into their sound system and make it known that it was being mixed live at whatever strategic spot for patrons to see. This L.A. crowd seems a little too-cool-for-school (or maybe self-conscious?)...I bet you'd get a crowd bopping a little in the streets of Berlin, say. Good job!
