I use Makaira's, Avet HX. For smaller fish, I have a couple of trinidad 20, a few ocea jiggers, accurates etc.

Great video. Got some runners and kawa using opelu 2 weeks ago off mcbh. Uku fishing video would be interesting. Never seen anybody try for swords but i know there are some around on that side.

Definitely got swords over here. I saw them a few times sun bathing during summer. Been talking about learning how to deep drop for them at night time but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I know its a crazy learning curve and im going to have to pay some dues and burn a ton of nights with nothing to show for it lol. Hopefully in the near future. 🤙

Reel Adventures Hawaii same rig for the opelu youre using but 10-15’ up rubberband a lead on. Bring it down to about 20-25 ft off the bottom

When im pulling lures im going from 7.5-8 knots. For dragging live bait I try to stay under 3.5 knots. Anything faster and you drown your baits. 🤙
