Florida Power and Light, by far the largest provider in Florida took this campain a step further, I remember going to see model homes as a child in the 1960s that were called "Gold Medialion Homes" using this same logo. Plus, in some nighborhoods they would put the Gold Medialion in the front sidewalk where the sidewalk from the front door met it, thus telling everyone that you owned an all electiric home.

This aired during General Electric's Judy Garland special on April 8, 1956- a month after G.E. introduced this campaign.

Electric bills were very low, and very few appliances used it. People could get great jobs to be able to afford almost anything they needed. Homes could run on a few fuses. Now its 100 amp breakers.

Bwahaha! Now, the instruction booklet is a bunch of nonsensical a-to-b-to-g-but ignore h if you purchased 318zc brand. Failing to do so could result in electric shock and will void the warranty, not to mention one's bowel.
