That is why we humans must research well before doggy gives birth. Dogs usually need a plan of where to give birth early on and usually they want to be in a quiet corner right?. There was way too much noise around her😢but I totally agree she felt safe enough to give birth but she should have been watched from afar unless there was,an issue. I learnt all this the hard way with my pomchu.

I mean tbh stress can induce labour; I love arie and lauren but they probably should've waited until at least the next day to bathe her. This is all too much for one day for a pregnant animal, especially because we don't know if she has had stressful/traumatic experiences

@Rachel Dickson hey chill. God. Did I say I hate them? Am I hating on them? Absolutely not. I love them and their videos. I'm saying this for other people (and for A+L) to consider in case they foster/adopt. How can you get so worked up over an opinion-- especially one that is literally backed up by facts and not said in a hateful manner? "Look up stress induced labour dogs". Arie and Lauren are human; they don't have to and will never do everything right. So maybe get a little less defensive when I'm clearly pointing something out without being hateful.

When I was growing up we had a boy and a girl dog so ofcourse she would get pregnant sometimes. I remember my mom staying up all night with her helping her have her puppies and comforting her. I'd wake up in the morning to little puppies. Those little puppy sounds take me back ☺

I’d recommend picking a theme for puppy names! It makes it more fun and owners end up changing the names anyway! Our current litter is three weeks now (videos on my page) you’re in for a fun time!

Very true! We always do theme names for our fosters too . My kids love to name the litters. We have done candy bars, candy , holiday theme names within the month we are fostering and youtubers names ! The 3 coming to us next Sunday we are thinking Valentines day theme or breakfast cereal names .

My husband and I have 4 kids and always wanted a dog but decided to wait until our youngest was out of diapers. Definitely glad we did. We decided to get a bernedoodle due to a highly allergic household. She is truly a dream family dog, especially with little ones. Not a single mean bone in her body and incredibly intelligent.

Good for you guys fostering a pregnant mom! Probably the best idea to foster and you help so many more dogs that way. They actually frequently put pregnant moms to sleep at our county shelter. They just don’t have the homes. Right now is the time when unwanted Christmas gifts (pets) get turned in at high volume! The black dogs are most at risk because they are last to get the homes 😢

You’re so good for fostering! I would recommend maybe getting a proper whelping box which has a rail so that if mumma dog rolls she won’t squash and suffocate a puppy, happens more frequently than you’d expect!
