On July 20, Jeff Bezos will go to space the old-fashioned way: on the end of a rocket.
The New Shepard spacecraft by Blue Origin will lift off at Bezos’s ranch in West Texas, travel 62 miles overhead and then detach a crew capsule in which Bezos, his brother Mark, and two passengers will enjoy about three minutes of weightlessness.
Follow live coverage of Blue Origin's first manned mission on Bloomberg TV and Bloomberg Quicktake on OTT.

Why are they calling them astronauts? They are passengers. What an insult to people like Neil Armstrong.

I can’t take this seriously. They call them astronauts just because they spent 5 min at high altitude. They are just reach grownup kids that rode an expensive roller coaster. Astronauts are much more than that, they are pilots and scientists that have missions to do, not a joyride.

I am very dissatisfied with the statement the social media come up with. Most of rich men are selfish, irresponsible and hypocrite. They should help those who are in need instead of showing off their wealth during difficult periods. Also, some of them still state that poor people always blame rich for their misfortune. Have the rich gone through the pains and bad experience as poor do? Have the rich forgotten about their conscience and responsibility in society? How irresponsible, selfish and hypocritical the rich are. All of them are liars and hoaxers. The poor communities are suffering and struggling but you all are still showing off your wealth in a way that cross the line. They all have gone too far and that's gross . 😡😡😡

To be frank, Jeff Bezos is not deserved to be admired and respected by others. He is very selfish, irresponsible and hypocritical. He does not donate his money to help those needy people but showing off his wealth to draw the attention from others by hitting the headlines on social media. Flying the rocket to the space with his teams is not cool at all but wasting money and resources on useless campaign. There is nothing to be proud of at all.
