Thank you Reed for doing these briefings for us. It’s been quite awhile since I used the math associated with meteorological events, and I’ve become quite rusty over the years. It’s been 15 years since I last participated in a productive chase, due to developing Multiple Sclerosis. I’ve done some milder recon and storm spotter duties up in the Twin Cites over the past several years, but nothing substantial. Watching these briefings bring back a lot of memories.

That same system moved across us here in Abingdon, VA early in the morning. I just happened to be up when it did. There was a lot of lightning and rolling thunder, and some wind. It looked like we were going to get hit at first, but it blew over pretty quick.

Meteorologist Reed makes me feel dumb. I'm so caught up with classical setups that when I took a look at this I didn't seriously consider it. The is another recent examples of very strong feburary low cape tornadoes. You're right tim, and I don't think I was the only chaser dude that didn't take this setup seriously enough. We need to be keeping a sharper eye on low cape events.

Mike Morgan and David Payne said they had a tornado warning then cancelled it and it re-ramped quick no sirens no warning and people blew it off wen it went down to severe thunderstorm warning. But it came back quick. There was still a good hook on it wen it was downgraded and Mike and David, who i trust alot, said that they made a big mistake doing that.

I’ve tried to like Radar Omega. Wish they could get at least somewhat close to the radar return data of RadarScope Pro. It has promise but the returns are still a bit too cluttered for my liking. Not a horrific product overall, and their warnings and statements are better than most other radar platforms. Once they iron out their actual return data, I think it will overtake RS.

Reed, I don't know all the technical side, I'm not always smart or brilliant and I was so glad when you were working on trails on a machine to enter the tornado so I'm listening to Dr. Dr. Anthony Fauci talk about DNA about braking down the DNA and using strategies that help people with different diseases and ailments that provide relief from symptoms of an ailment and help aline them to using strategies to benefit their lives, that science requires money and time. The science that you do is doing the same thing, you are a scientist, not a weather reporter. So get the funding and figure it out. The funding is there when you ask for it, people have high regard for your work will pay for it. I stand by you.
