Ppl are a slave to ppg but Smart took a lot of ill advised shots b/c he was always open. Teams let him shoot to contain Jason & Jaylen. Jrue is a MUCH better wide open 3pt shooter! And just makes tremendous decisions in key moments. Jrue has really unlocked Jaylen just by being on the court (well KP is a big part of tht too!) Im curious to hear the narrative after we beat Dallas (Luka is on one leg…) but they dont mention JT was on one leg last year in Miami! Smh

Great point He gets too caught up in trying to power his way to rim everytime, which is good against single coverage, but also gets him in trouble when there's help on the drive or at rim With his size, he needs to understand that he will be able to get a decent look from mid range/floater range or be able to find someone open everytime if he stops the drive at those spots when the defense is crowding the rim and/or closing the gaps to try to poke at the ball

Team A: faces some adversity thru out game; But continues to(for the most part)play the right way & in end digs deep & pulls out the "W" Team B: is up 4-7 pts with 5 min to go; And instead of doing what got em there; They instead decide to start walking ball up & devolve into iso-centric OFF where they either, dribble ball off leg for TO; Take a late clock contested fade away or really difficult step back heave; Or for some reason, decide to drive thru double teams & into clogged lanes resulting in brutal OT & pts the other way. Obv Team B is the Celts team we saw, in the bubble; vs GS in finals; and vs MIA last yr. While team A, is clearly the team we've seen this postseason. Still gotta close deal, but peeps aren't paying attention if they think this is the same Celts team & are nuts if they gonna front & pretend like there hasn't been any growth. And this has all mostly been without KP. And their OFF ceiling goes to another level when he's on the floor...clearly.
