🍁🍁Mt 8:18-22: Jesus answered him, "Foxes have dens and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to rest his head." Another of his disciples said to him, "Lord, let me go first and bury my father." But Jesus answered him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead."

🍁These two shocking statements are not to discourage us from following, but simply to give us a double-check to assure our motivations: to follow him Jesus does not only mean no guarantee of material reward, but also requires no "IFs" or "BUTs" in our life. Perhaps they become the life direction for us in this new week and month🍁🍁
