Hey Californians, are you happy with your state and local government? Are you satisfied that the people that you voted for are doing a good job? Are you of the opinion that this disaster was unavoidable because of climate change? In LA county, the person in charge of the water thought that it would be a good idea to empty the reservoir when the place is tinder dry. The fire chief didn't have a clue where the water in the fire-fighting mains comes from, or that that water had been turned off. The Communist mayor and the fire chief both knew that 15% of the fire fighting equipment was out of commission. Yes, your mayor, the one you voted for, is a dyed in the wool, Castro loving communist. Do you think this situation was caused by climate change? If climate change caused the conditions for these fires, when are your elected officials going to accept that and take the necessary precautions to mitigate the dangers? Well, you get what you asked for, and by voting in that group of clowns, you asked for it. Enjoy! Next time you go to the polls ... think about it.

Stayed at a Red Cross evaluation center and, although my area is still under evacuation orders, they demanded I apply to get free money for "transitioning" I don't need-- they asked me to leave as I refused to comply. What's the Red Cross getting out of this? Certainly not to actually help those victims affected. YOUR TAX DOLLARS PAY FOR THESE GIVEAWAYS THAT THE RED CROSS BENEFITS FROM. Disgusting. Staying in a hotel until I can go home. The center is full of homeless, drug addicts (who smoke meth in the center), thieves (that have been caught stealing from fire victims) and low life ghetto people all of which they refuse to remove. I bless the volunteers though, they are incredible but work for a questionable org. There's no way, albeit I've tried, to contact the CEO... he's MIA.

Besides the residents, I can't imagine how tired the firefighters are! I'm actually worried about them as well. I imagine they have a relief rotation of some sort set up, I hope, but god they are working long, hard hours!
