It annoys me to see her cry! You allowed a sick monster to inflict pain on your 5 year old child and kill her! You weren't scared to lose your girls you were scared to lose the abuser/killer. It hurts my heart to know both of your girls were abused and your baby was killed. As I watched the doctor get emotional, that really says so much about the damage that was done to the baby. Jonte and Michelle shouldn't be allowed to live another day.

Indeed, she did not cry when I asked her what happened and asked her. Do you know that your child is dead? When I want to go see her, she put her head down. Then started crying. I asked her, are you crying because your child is dead? Are you crying because you know you're gonna get a life sentence? That was my friendand nobody knew what was going on. Because she kept it to herselfthe thing was she came to work that night and I asked her what was wrong because she came in looking like a ghost. Would dirty clothes on. And looking depressed. I tried helping her yawl, but she didn't tell me or my sister. Nothing we all worked on the same shift. It was crazy and when I testified today. I couldn't stop crying because it was painful. I knew her her kids. She was best friends with my daughter and then tell my daughter Nothing either

I was a little irritated, as well, that there was no day two of this trial. however, after doing some research, I found out that this trial only lasted two days. On the third day, it only took the jury two hours to find him guilty! What is also interesting as the mother says that she was afraid of going to jail, but if she would have gone about things the right way and immediately reported this man for abusing her daughter she wouldn't have gotten any trouble and baby girl would still be alive today. I don't know her family situation, but she said her sister was living with her. She could've called her for help and she even said she could've sent the girl to live with her father. She had so many options here. It's just so ironic now she will be in prison for 30 years when she could've just gotten her daughter help. I also don't believe that daycare didn't see any bruises. They didn't want to see as they just looked the other way. If a man is injuring a child to that extent they definitely saw marks on her. Long sleeves or not, shirts ride up sometime when kids are playing.
