3:51:30 (just an idea obviously) but I think the best situation in terms of being able to play with multiple people in a “squad” or “duo” could be on future maps or “sectors”. I think the current map “cold storage” wouldn’t need a re-work to accommodate, and could be considered a solos only map, and then maybe there could be a larger map to allow for irl friends to play together in the same game. I think the element of team play, and gunfights with friends where your buddy dies and respawns half way across the map, and then you clutching the 1v2 and guarding your friends loot from third parties would be an amazing form of gameplay especially with valuable items on the line. This would be amazing, but as of right now the current gameplay loop, gunplay, and even movement like bunny hopping in gunfights is incredibly addictive. Super excited to play alongside and witness the creation of a masterpiece

Tracker on a loot bag sounds cool. A little predator vs prey action. Maybe intentionally using that mechanic as bait adding to the risk /reward concept. Not knowing whether a bag or loot is being tracked, do you risk taking it or the loot. Having the tracker cross servers incase you meet that player again and they have the tracked item equipped. Adding more of a personal goal to a match

Inventory and loot aspects are pretty frustrating and kind of take away from the guns and movement which is what i'm really there for. Simplifying the inventory would be a huge improvement imho. Either way great work Midnight Society! Audio and music are pristine so far, keep it up!

Also can’t wait to see the custom skins for weapons and all and hopefully stickers aswell. Imagine stickers you can add to your weapons that have the name of the player you killed and assuming it gets picked up it will carry on to other players. IE the sticker is permanent to the weapon for ever and its new owners. Like 5-10 sticker slotss per weapon along with a skin.

In reference to being able to track your backpack in game, how about the use of an apple keychain tag attachment that could be activated and left in backpacks maybe a timer on them or something. Maybe you get one chance to track the general area after first death only.

A couple of things I see could use improvement for a VSM game. One, pushing a button shouldn't be a "timed interaction." Two, looting should either be like Doc said where you can just grab a bag and run to a spot then open it up OR it shouldn't take you to a "looting screen." Maybe hold the interact key for half a second like you are unzipping and then show the inventory at the bottom of the screen that you can loot with one hand while still looking around with a weapon in the other hand. Dr Lupo said you can't tell if noise is coming from above or below. I know it's pre-alpha but they need to make that a priority to get right. I can't imagine putting all this effort into a single game, a vertical ascension shooter, and not knowing if you can get the audio correct. If this was any game that wasn't Doc's, Doc would be complaining about the audio until he uninstalled. Regardless if it was pre-alpha or not. This game fails quickly if it doesn't have the best 360 audio in the business.
