YES!!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍 I was one of those who were saving up to buy one, turned to the HH page one day just to check, and saw they were discontinued. Yep, I was hugely disappointed and hurt. The timing wasn’t right for me $$$$-wise. Then I almost paid $500 for a well-used one. I’m glad I didn’t get that one! A few months later, I did finally find one by chance at a “local hobby shop”, that was 2,000 miles away in NM! The owner and his wife were very nice and took my order over the phone. We worked out the shipping and now I have my CZ T-28! Yay!!

Thank you for the SAFE Select ! That is such a blessing when you're trying to teach someone to fly. It only takes a crash or two to completely turn off a beginner pilot and cause them to just give it up. Fine job guys 👍

I was set on the FMS T-28 because of the suspension in the retracts. Now, you've very kindly complicated this decision. :) Anyone have any ideas about where I might find suspension retracts for this particular bird?

Hello guys I’ve been flying the 1.1mm with out retracts it’s only been about 2 weeks I’m pretty comfortable with it so I wanted to start looking for another one but I just love how the Trojan handles so I want another one would you guys recommend the 1.2 or this one thank you guys for bringing it back or maybe it’s a better idea to get the 1.2 and get this one and put it away? I need some advice

Gamingforfun 007 I haven’t, i have seen it fly at my local club. It’s a perfect all around plane honestly. This 2.0 T-28 is stunning too, if you have the money get the larger one. The smaller one will blow you away and it will always be cheaper and easier to maintain. I do personally own the eleven hobby t 28, it takes a 3s 2200 and it’s a very nice flier. I got it when it was first released for like 120$

Gamingforfun 007- 1.2m is definatelly what you want!!! If you get this Carbon Z T28, you'll need huge batteries, and it's harder to get around. If you don't mind assembly every time you bring it to a field, and have a few hundred dollars for a few batteries (2-3) this plane might be the plane for you.

Its the spare parts. I have 8 large scale Hangar 9 models - they are not broken, just wearing out. Canopies, cowls are the main 2 things.

Just grabbed one of these! So excited to try it out and grateful I got one before they go away again. Small side note: In videos with 2 people it is SO distracting and annoying to have 1 guy staring at a phone or in this case a computer the whole time. It's kinda disrespectful and really forces the viewer to pay attention to something they'd rather not.

I also didn't have much experience as i learned to fly with your corsair safe and then bought one of these. I flew it like a pro. Great flying plane. Very easy take offs and landings just using the as3x feature

Just bought mine last week and maidened it this past Monday. OMG, if you ever get rid of this plane (or at least don’t come out with an improved version (maybe faster or something, really nothing to improve)) I will stop buying your products. Discontinued again when I was just going to buy one! Horizon, are you coming back with a V2, SMART etc? Or do I have to search online for any remaining stock before their gone? I need answers now before their gone for good.

Many of our most popular models are being “transitioned” to include newer generation Smart compatible and forward programming capable receivers (the new Spektrum AR631 and AR637TA in particular) because we can’t get the old Spektrum chips to produce the AR636 receiver anymore. When only the receiver changes, the new version usually shows up on our web site within a few days of the original version selling out. But some models, like the Carbon-Z T-28 2.0m (and the 1.2m T-28!), that are getting additional updates/upgrades may not show up again until later this year or next year. Yes, this one will be back...but if you want to buy/fly one in the next year or so you'll need to pick one up now if you can find it!

Not as a first RC airplane for a beginner...you should start with a trainer airplane like the HobbyZone AeroScout S, Mini Apprentice S or Carbon Cub S+ (see them here: www.horizonhobby.com/storefronts/hobbyzone-brand ) or the E-flite Apprentice STS (www.horizonhobby.com/apprentice-sts-15e-rtf-with-safe-15m-and-dxe-transmitter-p-efl3700 ). After learning to fly any of those models successfully we recommend the ParkZone T-28 1.1m (www.horizonhobby.com/t-28-trojan-11m-bnf-basic-with-as3x-and-ss-p-pkz8250 ) as your second airplane, then you can potentially move on to the Carbon-Z T-28 2.0m as your third airplane! I still have my original Carbon Z T28 Trojan from when it first came out. . It's very easy to Fly and a forgiving Plane when it comes to CG and Weight. The only issues i have is the obvious original issue with the front strut bending causing binding and possible Power/Control loss and the Cowl has lost nearly ALL its Red Colour and looks terrible. (Pale).

That would be awesome! But unfortunately there are no plans for any other warbirds in the ~2.0m wingspan size at this time. However, we did recently release a 1.5m Fw 190 ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/i36XfXmfo82plbc ) and also have a 1.5m P-51D ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWbWqqB_fK-XhMk ) that use 6S batteries and have far more scale detail overall! The 1.5m size is proving to be more popular than larger sizes because it's more affordable and more practical for more people.

The Trojan was always a top trainer plane. It is highly visible, has high quality and good retracts. A model should be large. The price is justified. Eflite should present more planes of that category. A beginner-intermediate pilot could possible fly it.I would also like to see twin engine models of that size. Please no more cargo planes.

I never understand the, its foam, thats too much money. Half the price of balsa, flies better, handles hanger rash better oh and most times in a crash a couple glue sticks has you flying again. Great job bringing it back guys, hopefully the market agrees.

Love how it flies, this is a transport difficult plane you have to remove the wing, be easeir if tghe conections were simplified to a plug, a little annoying to disconnect all the cables everytime

Love the plane, as many of your planes, but at this price range, it should have better retracts with shock absorbing struts and should be available to buy PNP so we could put our own choice of radio receiver. Take out the as3x w/safe put in better struts. Like I said, I love the plane but am getting tired of having to waste time and money because I have to take out your Rx and then sell it to someone else. Shouldn't be forced to do that. It should be optional. Hense PNP.
