It's nice to see your professional update here. First time I have seen you do this Reed. You should do more of these. We need to hear your expertise more. You give feedback that other meteorologists ignore. I appreciate your input. Usually you are on the ground and in the midst of things. This is a nice change of pace for you. Now that we are Entering in Libra season, hurricane season is becoming super charged. October 2024 is going to be one hell of a month for the cosmos. Mark my words. 3 epic events are about to occur. They are going to affect our weather and planets in our solar system.

@lifepro77777Ай бұрын
Right on schedule with that forecast buddy, but you already knew that. The tricky part now is to coordinate with your time and target precisely the area range landfall will occur. The saddest irony is another direct Mexico Beach confrontation but still predicting it being steered more easterly once entering the loop current Gulf. Footage and experience should be scientifically worthy.

Any chance that this same type of interaction is what kept the Galveston Hurricane of 1900 from hitting Florida and instead directed it to Galveston? Though Roker's posit that it was the high pressure over FL that did it makes sense to me.

The different models are all over the map in terms of intensity. I was watching other channels who predicted everything from a tropical storm to a Cat. 1, 2 or possibly a 3. Because it hasn't even formed yet, they can only go by the models that have it all over the place. They are saying that they have to wait until it is in the Gulf before they can make more accurate predictions.
