What is the meaning of at weekends?

In the US they say "on weekends" and in the UK they say "at weekends". It's just the preposition used with weekend and doesn't have a special meaning. In the morning, on Saturday, on / at the weekend :)

Read texts that are right for your level - not too difficult and not too easy. You can find something on BBC Learning English. Read the first time without looking up vocabulary, only underlining new words, and write how much of the text you understood, for example 50-%? 60%.? Then look up the vocabulary you underlined and read the text again. Write down how much you understand and it will be higher, maybe 90 - 95%. Focus on what you DO understand and not on what you don't understand.
