When the hell was this done? '81 - '82-ish? Sounds to me like he was influenced by Wendy O. here. He and i were at a Wendy O. concert in Manchester, NH around that time, and it's the night he got his photo posing with Wendy. However, he already had done some stuff sorta like this, as he had the venue where she played, show his videos on their closed-circuit TVs before she played. Those were the videos with the dumpster, in an alley. That night was the last time i was with him in person, though he continued to stay in touch for a couple of more years, before we lost contact and didn't speak again 'til late '92. Lotsa memories....
@JimDangerZone8 жыл бұрын
Hmmmmm, i wonder. I'd still guess '80s. I'd ask one of the Jabbers, but they're not speaking to me anymore since i wrote the truth about them in my article, "GG Allin & The Jabbers, From My Own Experience With Them", or something like that. It's in my 2015 Blog archives, on my webpage, jimdangerzone.com I don't know of him doing any singing in the '70s, just drumming, but i'm not certain. I didn't meet him 'til March of '80, and all i know of that he'd done so far as a singer, was "Bored To Death" and everything after that. I never heard this song, but he did wanna be Mick Jagger for a while, when i knew him, when he did stuff like, "Cherry Love Affair", he'd have gladly traded places with Jagger. In '81, '82, he was going more toward the metal stuff like Wendy O. was doing, before he really found his own niche in his own horror-show style.
@KrimsonKloud8 жыл бұрын
This album was released in 1984 when he was trying to reach commercial success. If you type in 'Live Fast, Die Fast' it says '84' on the back cover. I believe 'Bored to Death', 'Beat, Beat, Beat', and 'One-Man Army' were recorded in 1978.

The first 3 Jabbers songs i ever heard of were "Bored To Death", "Beat, Beat, Beat" and "One Man Army", all three on one single. If anything was recorded before that, it must have completely thrown out, 'cause when i met them in March of 1980, the only thing they had was "Bored To Death", "Beat, Beat, Beat", "One Man Army", "Cheri Love Affair" and "1980s Rock'n'Roll". Then came that first LP, then "Gimme Some Head" with "Dead Or Alive", in '81. I never heard this particular song in '80 or '81.
