There's great GG Allin tunes from all his bands and phases. People only look at the crazy shit he did. He was punk rock, have zero fucks and when people hated on him, it only fueled the fire. He's more human then most of the real scum out there, he will forever live on through his music

When the hell was this done? '81 - '82-ish? Sounds to me like he was influenced by Wendy O. here. He and i were at a Wendy O. concert in Manchester, NH around that time, and it's the night he got his photo posing with Wendy. However, he already had done some stuff sorta like this, as he had the venue where she played, show his videos on their closed-circuit TVs before she played. Those were the videos with the dumpster, in an alley. That night was the last time i was with him in person, though he continued to stay in touch for a couple of more years, before we lost contact and didn't speak again 'til late '92. Lotsa memories....
@JimDangerZone
@JimDangerZone 8 жыл бұрын
Hmmmmm, i wonder. I'd still guess '80s. I'd ask one of the Jabbers, but they're not speaking to me anymore since i wrote the truth about them in my article, "GG Allin & The Jabbers, From My Own Experience With Them", or something like that. It's in my 2015 Blog archives, on my webpage, jimdangerzone.com I don't know of him doing any singing in the '70s, just drumming, but i'm not certain. I didn't meet him 'til March of '80, and all i know of that he'd done so far as a singer, was "Bored To Death" and everything after that. I never heard this song, but he did wanna be Mick Jagger for a while, when i knew him, when he did stuff like, "Cherry Love Affair", he'd have gladly traded places with Jagger. In '81, '82, he was going more toward the metal stuff like Wendy O. was doing, before he really found his own niche in his own horror-show style.

This album was released in 1984 when he was trying to reach commercial success. If you type in 'Live Fast, Die Fast' it says '84' on the back cover. I believe 'Bored to Death', 'Beat, Beat, Beat', and 'One-Man Army' were recorded in 1978.

The first 3 Jabbers songs i ever heard of were "Bored To Death", "Beat, Beat, Beat" and "One Man Army", all three on one single. If anything was recorded before that, it must have completely thrown out, 'cause when i met them in March of 1980, the only thing they had was "Bored To Death", "Beat, Beat, Beat", "One Man Army", "Cheri Love Affair" and "1980s Rock'n'Roll". Then came that first LP, then "Gimme Some Head" with "Dead Or Alive", in '81. I never heard this particular song in '80 or '81.

Me and the boys are, we're living for the night We're looking for adventure, we're looking for a bloody fight Always on the run, we're never gonna do what's right We're looking for chicks and we're looking for kicks We're living fast and we're living right Live fast, die fast Don't worry 'bout the crash Hell bound on the coursecrash Living in the alley with the rest of the trash Ah we're never slowing down, we're gonna party tonight We don't care 'bout nothing we're living like rats in a sewer pipe You'll never stop us now, when we're running the red light Pick up a few racks at the corner store We're gonna get wild in the streets tonight Live fast, die fast Don't worry 'bout the crash Hell bound on the coursecrash Living in the alley with the rest of the trash Live fast, die fast Don't worry 'bout the crash Hell bound on the coursecrash Living in the alley with the rest of the trash Me and the boys are, we're living for the night We're looking for adventure, we're looking for a bloody fight You'll never, you'll never stop us now, you see we're running the red light We're looking for some chicks, we're looking for some kicks and We're living fast and we're living it right Live fast, die fast Don't worry 'bout the crash Hell bound on the coursecrash Living in the alley with the rest of the trash

GG is similar to Danzig, in that they are so over the top sometimes that it distracts people from the incredible songs they are being presented with.

@BlazedBastar666 Why is violence ALWAYS your answer? Cant we have an open and kind dialoge based on compassion and trust to resolve our differences?

@Robtarded GG rode the "Hellbound Train" (Savoy Brown)-----that what he wanted. And lolbobs is right---GG intended to leave out. 'Death rides the day of no tomorrows' (Lanskee, Sugar Lanskee). On that ride GG is ahead of the class, the true Alpha and Omega.
