Most likely it won't take it once it gets bit. I've seen a video or two where the hamster gets bit and empties all of its food from its cheek pouches. I'm assuming due to distress.

Live feeding is the most natural and the healthiest form of diet for frogs. It brings them happiness and keeps their senses sharp. It is just a normal part of keeping frogs as pets.
