The song that Noel Gallagher said made him realize that he probably has the knack for this "songwriting" thing. And indeed, Live Forever from Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe is a masterpiece of fine songwriting. Adding the context that the song was first released in the background of doom and depressing sunset of grunge, this tune a ray of light that maybe music doesn't have to be all about slitting wrists.
