Well, she sure looks pregnant to me! 113-115 days until she pops them out. I can't wait! The pictures of full sized mini-pig females don't have bellies like hers! Darling's garden is looking beautiful with her harvesting basket. What?! Baby geese? Oh my gosh, so adorable! I thank you for your channel. It's the only one I watch that calms me from what's actually going on with our governments.

That’s what I think too, her belly wasn’t that big before that’s why I said she may be preggers, trouble is I have no idea of the conception date so it’s just wait and see situation. Thanks a million for the kind words, keeps me going.

It’s good to break up the grass clippings so they don’t form clumps. Sometimes the grass clippings clumps get slimy and nasty. Frequent turning helps but it’s easiest to break up the clumps when you add the grass to the pile.

Morning Chad. There is so much new life between the new chicks and gosling. I am so happy for your harvest in the garden. I cannot wait to see the corn and pumpkins. Did you two plant sunflowers this year. They were huge last year. Still waiting or hoping for piglets. Chewy seems to be more friendly. Have a great day everyone.

Some corn is coming up but definitely not as many as I planted. We did do some sunflowers using the seeds we got from the last harvest, they’re about 6” tall now. Thanks so much for the comment 👨‍🌾

7:57 I love your composting setup, and I like to use something like that, just some pallets staked up, and if you wouldn't mind my input, in Northern Pennsylvania, I like to keep it open to the air, but I'm of course not sure what your rain and such is like. Keep farming hard!❤

Looks like Bobby gets more food with his new roommate. More sharing going on. The3 amigos are so 🥰 cute together, especially when Chewie loves on Bobby just like Billie loves on Olive. The garden is looking just wonderful, especially the baby Bok choy!

Chewie’s behaviour with The two pigs is so unexpected but amazingly cute. He’s coming around nicely. I’ve never had a fresher bok choy stir fry. 😊

Chad, Watching Chewy behavior in this video, when he closed both eyes to you, cats don’t normally hiss and meow in that way. One eye blink, they’re saying I love you. If you do a one eye blink, you’re saying I love you back. They understand what you just told them. I would say Chewy was either hurting, ate something bad or got bitten by something. He was trying to tell you that he needed your help to get better. Animals if don’t get the help they need will go off somewhere to die. It’s not your fault. I just recently watched the video after he went missing, or I would have messaged you sooner. When cat or dogs become injured, they become more aggressive towards their owners. I’m sorry to hear that Chewy is still missing. Also, when Dexter climbs your leg, he wants to be held. Male cats are better hunters in my opinion, from experience.

My favourite in the garden is the Annabelle Hydrangeas, they have huge white heads of flowers and are very showy. Phlox is nice too. We’re always excited to try to get everything blooming at the same time. 🌺 🌹

Always enjoy thanks for fun and learning. How many rosters per hens? 1-12? Darling has a perfect garden and knows so much, must be a really good cook. Still have to catch up with yur other vids. Have you tried Hollyhock flowers? Luv u both❤😊
@HiddenSpringFarm
@HiddenSpringFarm Жыл бұрын
My personal guideline is 7-10 hens per roo, but I’d still only keep 1 roo per flock. We haven’t had great success with hollyhocks over the years, but we haven’t tried them here yet and they’re so beautiful and tall. And yes my Darlin is an incredible cook and she enjoys feeding me too 😂

How do you keep from inbreeding the gosslings?
@HiddenSpringFarm
@HiddenSpringFarm Жыл бұрын
We have 2 pairs of geese for 2 years now and actually this is the first year I hatched them. I’ll either sell some or harvest some but won’t breed them. They will mate though, it’s up to you if you want to breed to separate your breeding pair for a while so you know.

How much is animal feed a month?
@HiddenSpringFarm
@HiddenSpringFarm 5 ай бұрын
I’ve never broken it down by month before but a trip to the feed store will cost like $300. It’s way more in winter as no animals are on pasture.
