No they won't. They were a 4-13 team last year with one of the worst rosters in the sport as analyzed by several outside unbiased publications, and they have no depth anywhere. They are in for a lonnnng season and a long several seasons of a rebuild. They need help everywhere.

I appreciate DQ of holding people accountable when they’re not getting the job done. This why I will continue to say, this not the same staff as last year because Ron would’ve kept the same kicker with all those misses. Like he did with the long snapper last season. I remember Ron saying specifically when the long snapper had issues during training camp “It’s not an issue until it cost us games.” DQ is not playing around and not waiting on doing what needs to be done!

Watching the live chat during this is so crazy, fans calling for DQ getting fired and Kliff and then saying trade JD5 all those fans need to go root for a different team. And saying trade Forbes what is that going to do and who is going to give you anything for Forbes at this time. People just need to relax and know that this is going to be a season of building and we don't have a playoff roster like Tampa does, so we need to sit back and watch the process and know this is week 1 of a team that has 70% new players give them some time to gel and come together. This isn't a win/loss record season this is a player evaluation season to build a team. Look at Detroit's 1st season under Dan Campbell the were 3-13 or something like that and Houston was just as bad when they started their rebuild Stroud was brought in in the 3rd year of their rebuild not season 1 like JD5.

@@KennyMan_dmv202 That's what I was saying and also it is only the first game of what we hope is a long career here in D.C. and I knew going into this season that we had a lot of holes that AP wasn't able to fill in his first offseason but he did a whole hell of a lot but it takes time, if you are going to build a team the right way to be competitive year in and year out, no short cuts like our former owner always like to try and do.

@@kevinroll8299 I don't see JD5 like I see Lamar and I love Lamar's play but I think JD5 is a lot better passer coming out of college than Lamar was. JD5 was in his first real NFL game and you could see the rookie at times he will get better and if he gets more than 2.6 seconds to throw the ball(that was his avg time to throw against the Bucs) he will get much better moving forward. He and this team will be fine down the road and I trust that Adam Peters knows what he is doing and has a plan for the future in D.C.

Coulda brought in Gilmore to give CB room a chance. Coulda brought in Bakhtiari to help O line, coulda traded for Reddick to have a semblance of Edge rush, coulda traded for BA to keep Terry from being concentrated on. We all knew these issues since end of last season. That Tampa game was UGLY in every area. JD gonna be running for his life all season long. Not impressed with the team from top down. Harris ya better get serious ASAP.

Fixing St Juice hands will benefit him with production, confidence, and status... Its egregious that he still can't catch after being in the league for 3+ years... it needbto be a priority... He can easily improve his stock. One day I wanna hear somebody say he catches 25 than 50 than 100 balls before,during, and after practice with someone tracking him.. Jayden did miss some throws, besides the deep pass the Terry, he missed Terry and Ekler a few times becsuse he chose to run. He'll learn and get better. The offense didn't play well and they still put up 20 pts and it should've been more but the kicker was terrible
