Ahhhh Dr Jeffress, you crack me up. I will quote something I read somewhere….. A man was explaining to his friend that before he and his wife married they decided that she would take care of all the small decisions that had to be made and he would talked care of all the large decisions. And wouldn’t you know, after however many years they’d been married, there had only been small decisions….. We live in a fallen world, but we are saved and blessed by our Saviours grace. I don’t know what exactly our God was teaching us in Ephesians. But after 58 years married I will say that sometimes I have the deciding vote and other times my husband has the deciding vote. We both love and serve our God ….first. ❤️

But in this context I think Dr. Jeffress just wanted to go over the passage that a lot of baptists take out of context where they believe the woman has to obey the man no matter what, and must take any physical violence that comes upon her. Dr Jeffress is going through a verse by verse study of the book of Ephesians, and this segment just so happened to land on mother’s day.
