Just arrived back to uk on Friday , had 2weeks in Cala Millor for the seventh time brilliant.

I drove to Cala Millor from SW Hampshire UK 877 miles through France from Calais to Sète and ferry to Alcudia . The car drive holiday was one one of the best trips down and back, taking 4 days down, and 2 days back. Total cost including ferry, fuel and motorway tolls was around £2000. I travelled with my dog, and next year plan to come down in a motorhome, stopping off longer in France, and hotel or apartment block in Mallorca. I have been coming to Cala Millor now for 35 years, and bought an apartment nearly 11 years ago when my wife was alive, and now sold it as my wife sadly passed away just over 9 years ago, and I have been back, but not enough to make good use of my apartment of recent years, so I have sold it and purchasing a brand new motorhome. I have friends in the resort, and plan to still visit them in future. Nice to see the resort still has sun loungers still on the beach. Years gone by, they were all gone by now. We have just arrived back in the UK after staying at Protur Bonaire in Cala Bona, weather was great, beaches were packed which is great for tourism, prices were pretty much like last year. We love the stretch from Cala Bona down to S’illott for running and cycling and the view along with the weather. Already looking at booking again and probably in Cala Millor so we can get to either end no problem, love your lives and great info 😊

The Bonaire is our favourite place in the world. Our 3 daughters have spent so much time there growing up over the years. Cala Bona is great too 👍

Hi again, Yes Brian Clough was manager of Notts. Forest and won the European Championship in 1979 and 1980. Before both finals, the team went on a pre final holiday in Cala Millor as I understand relaxing. The Clough family have an apartment in Cala Millor and not Cala Bona. Once met Brian Clough in the Cala Millor Park when My wife and I were staying there. Brian Clough had brought his whole family over including grandchildren. I politely ignored him first time as he was with his family. The second time, he invited my wife and I for a chat, which is then he informed that he had the whole family with him on holiday. The family from what I have seen, are a real nice family.

Its a shame, stayed in the laventa hotel in 13/10/91. The experience of Cala Bona. Which was my honeymoon, was so bad!! Travel to other resorts & it that was so much better
