Story. Thanks again for taking us along on your visit to the park. I am missing Disneyland but will be back there on 7/14! Can’t wait! In the meantime, can you explain the difference between the names Disney World, Disneyland, and Magic Kingdom. Are the parks on both coasts called Magic Kingdom?

Thank you for watching, Gary! Hope you have an amazing trip! Your question makes me want to make a video, but here is how I understand it: Disneyland was marketed as such as a sort of Walt Disney take on amusement parks (becoming a theme park). Inside this Disneyland was Walt's original "Magic Kingdom". To differentiate from California when the park opened up in Florida, they used the word "World". This bigger word denoted a size difference between the coasts. Also, Roy added on the name of "Walt" so in Florida it is technically Walt Disney World. This first park would be the Magic Kingdom which over the years has shifted in some of the naming as well. I don't have all the info, but I hope this sort of helps!
