This was originally written fro the Falling Into You Album but her people passed on it so Billy Porter sang it without knowing they gave it to Celine Dion and she refused it a couple months before it was offered to him. He was kept out of the loop when they took it and offered the song for her Let's Talk About Love album and she recorded it because she heard it in the First Wives Club and fell in love and learned that it was one of the many songs her team had passed on. She sang it without knowing about the Billy Porter incident and placed it on her album.

Thanks for sharing this video. I think it's the only live video of her singing this song. This is a very difficult song to sing, but Celine makes it seem effortless. Other so called divas could easily screw it. Celine is in a league of her own. No one can come close.

Love celine but Billy’s version was so much more soulful, heartfelt and meaningful. Celines version for me comes across disconnected at times, abrupt and technically sharp, the key change at the end sounded flat. It doesn’t give the feeling that Billy’s version was so widely recognised for. Celines such a humble darling. Love every other song she sings, just not this one, it’s Billy’s.
