UCLA is bad lately, especially this year! And yes, some long-term losing teams should be kept out of the new high-paying league! Perdue, NW, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Rutgers don’t belong.

Indiana's wins don't feel gimmicky if that makes sense. They feel sound, they feel methodical, and they feel replicable. I think Rourke is the difference. A team with sound, quality QB play can do some good things. Rourke going 9/9 on third down can't be overlooked. Do I still think IU has yet to play a quality team? Sure. But, that shouldn't take away from the fact that IU is beating the teams that it should. That's what good teams are supposed to do. The two hurdles ahead that I see for the Hoosiers are against Nebraska, and obviously Ohio State. You might be wondering why I didn't throw Michigan in that mix. I just don't think this is Michigan's year. When you can play quality football on both sides of the ball like IU has to this point, you're going to win a lot of games. No, I'm not ridiculous enough to think IU has a chance to win the Big Ten or sneak into the CFP. Let's not get crazy here. But I wouldn't be shocked to see IU finish the season 9-3 or 10-2 and close the season out ranked in the AP top 25. After this feel good season the next question is can IU sustain this success, or will they return to their .419 winning average? Until then, go IU.

I remember some people pooh pooing Indiana, Minnesota, Northwestern, Illinois, Iowa, etc. Some even asking if it's time to retract these schools out. All I have to say is, "Welcome to the B1G."

As an Oregon fan, a game played in the Rose Bowl is not the same as playing in the Rose Bowl Game. The Ducks have done both, and, lost in both, but no way are they the same thing. Several Big 10 teams have played in a Rose Bowl Game. The only one that I don’t believe that have are Northwestern, Rutgers and Maryland. Some haven’t play there in a long time, but, they still did it. I know that Nebraska played in that game during WII.

I’m from Southern California, no recruits, absolutely NONE want to play at UCLA. With USC getting hot, they are all going to want to go there or Oregon. SoCal top recruits will go to Utah, ASU or Arizona before wanting to play at UCLA. Who wants to play at a huge liberal college, with a mish-mash coaching staff. UCLA is going to be done for a long, long, long time. What incentives does UCLA offer recruits or transfers, that can challenge USC, Oregon, Utah or the Arizona schools, NOTHING!!!!

@@Oooooo-xi2mx Oregon does not have horrible academics, period. UO is an AAU research school, as are UCLA and USC. If I were to rank the three of them overall Oregon might be third, but that’s to be expected for a much smaller school in the middle of a smaller state. Still, Oregon punches well above its weight in every regard, including football.
