So first of all , thank you all for the support on today's video and my gratitude to everyone who felt my loss as their own and expressed their support ! Would just like to add here that while I appreciate all of your suggestions and take them with a very positive mindset, I'm also aware that a lot of them are based in hindsight A lot of the talk is around risk reward management, and basically it is addressed in the fact that if 3% profit is what you book all the time and 1.5% the loss, it's best to always stick to those guidelines, and similarly if 6% is youe targeted profit then you need to put 3% on the table else it's not workable and booking profit at 3% will break the rr chain . I do not consider this loss a major failure, nor do I blame anything for it , it is a part of the process and this will definitely not be the last time I make a loss ! One major thing to not look over for me in this situation , is that if I change the style of trading each time something "doesn't work" , I'll be stuck in a loop of "trying to find the perfect system that doesn't lose" which does not exist. Really do appreciate all the love and support from all of you!

Hello Shreyas, if you had left your first trade as it is you would have ended with 7.5L of profit. You were narrowing down your strangle, which is extremely risky. With great quantity comes great slippages, only way to avoid them is by giving space to the market. Your work is fantastic by the way.🙏.

The expectations of people are abnormal, 2-6 % PnL daily, I personally cannot trade in this style, it is beyond my risk appetite. I feel sebi is doing the right thing by increasing margins to atleast 20% contract value and removing MIS completey. It will ensure retailers survive longer in the markets and learn their craft with time. Manu Bhatia sells double of this i.e.1600 lots but he uses a capital of 24 crore for it. In the best of days he makes 1% per day avg for the week.

@@mayank-p4e I agree, that I drive like a Maruti, because one mistake on this race track will send you back in time or may even end your race. No doubt Shreyas is a fantastic driver, all I want others to do is find out their own driving style. Trade may go wrong or right, but leverage kills. Initial strangle 14800-15000 could have given 25 points... I know at start of day its hard to predict where market will close .. Sorry to see your loss but that is part of game as you always says. One question- Can't we have once side sell at some point of time? Today we could sold CE when market reversed from day high? OI data clearly indicating sell in market around 2 pm.

These kind of scenarios are quite possible. please let us know your lesson learnt. Exiting before 3pm or winding up at least 50% positions or stop loss adjustments or exit the sell quantity and double the buy quantity in SLM from tested side?...Just throwing some thoughts to understand how you could have managed?

you are doing a wonderful job and hope you recover todays loss in next trades. a small input: firstly, had you kept your original position 14800 PE and 15000 CE, it would have given good profit secondly, keeping the strangle too narrow is quite ambitious and also risky - of course u know it. to me, 100 points gap a day is a safe bet. for example, if we do for next week then 500 points away from each side of 14900 would have good cushion.

If 3% is the profit you always book or 1.5% the loss that you book, it's best to follow that process consistently , at the same time if 6-8% is that profit that you book and 3-4% is your risk then its a wrong idea to book a 3% profit, the question is what rr spread are you comfortable with and able to handle rationally without letting it get to your head , I appreciate your concern nevertheless!
