ISRO clarity was much better, you knew that very moment that it was history made Also we had pictures of surface comming in continously during final approach on the big screen

why do we compare this to isro?
@bineetgupta11 ай бұрын
@@JaivianD just like that, because both were unmanned spacecraft you may compare it with Hakuto R or beresheet if you have any problem with comparing with Isro

It was a fine achievement. Unfortunately, nothing made by the hand of man is perfect. I'd think the Peregrine staff and builders would be happy with your level of success.

Why all the unhappy faces in the press conference?
@dustup224911 ай бұрын
Because they failed and Japanese are a very proud people who are known to be painfully truthful no matter what the circumstances. If they were told to lie to preserve a perceived technology superiority to the US and China, they would not be able to mask their shame at lying to the public. They look unhappy because they have to lie, not because technical difficulties or complete failure of a project that had even odds at success and failure.

It may not be perfect

Because it's pretty obvious that depending solely on the battery power (with whatever hours of life it may have), the module cannot operate and send data back successfully for long. In other words, the mission will deemed to be a partial success.

Good grief, landing safely on the Moon is super tough these days, who knew? If only NASA hadn't lost all their data from their 100% successful landings per approach, they could have helped.
@amaratvak699811 ай бұрын
Lost all 100% of the successful moon landings data? Well, the moot question is: Did they actually land on the moon at all? Btw, that was about 55 years ago considering the kind of scientific know how and technology humankind had back then. And even today, in 2024 nations are finding it extremely challenging to land and operate even unmanned modules on the moon. Curiously enough, NASA hasn't shown any inclination in sending even an unmanned craft to the moon in the current times. I mean this turns out so obviously the biggest scam of the 20th century and a clever deception, a joke on the entire humanity by the US. Mindless powerplay with the then USSR was the starting point of it all, not out of any legitimate yearning for scientific development in space exploration!

This seems similar to ISRO claiming success followed by vague "we need more time to digest the data". If JAXA remains nominal to profile with the ISRO's radio silence to date, we can assume that this attempt met with disaster but because national reputations are involved, admission to failure is not an option. ISRO used animations and claimed it was actual on the moon footage but the Adobe After Effects they used showed the same artifacts from sub-standard coding that renders CGI comical at best. Industrial Light & Magic would have done a much better job, but India apparently would not budget it because it offshored a sensitive gov't operation to a corporate American entity that could blow their cover up later. Real and believable video is essential here or it didn't happen.

Is your brain dead? Or your brain is still living in stone age? ISRO chandrayaan 3 lander didn't had any video cameras... They had only image captures camera with low resolution ( Why low resolution camera? :- because chandrayaan 3 not have enough power to battery to capture a higher quality image/video... If thier camera will captures this, the probe will be dead due to sudden battery loss) well I forgot thatI'm talking with a uneducated stone age orangan .. keep sleeping
