Know what? I found it hard to like Camilla….. BUT after time and watching her. She is graceful and respectful as a Queen over the last few days. I do understand it’s not up to me, especially since I have never set foot out of the USA. Charles should have been allowed to choose the woman he loved, not be thrown into a relationship with a woman who could produce an heir. The way the British crown is passed down is so sad to know from a young age that you will become King or Queen will coincide with the loss of your father or mother. I think this is better arranged in my country of origin the Netherlands where they allow the Monarch to hand down the crown after the retirement age of 65.

The British Royals have preserved so much more of their traditions than any other Royal House in Europe (e.g. the last surviving full medieval coronation in the world). These traditions are important to protect; and I’m sorry, but if they were to switch to the way the monarch is crowned in the Netherlands, it would lose a lot of its magic. The fact that the instant the reigning monarch dies, the next in line automatically becomes sovereign, has been the way it’s been done for well over one thousand years, and has a huge amount of gravity to it. They definitely should not change it in my opinion. But yes, it is definitely sad for our King.

So pleased the lady on the side got her rightful place, but King Charles paid for it with a heavy price. For decades women were good enough for something's, but not for other especially when many of these advisors didn't have some of the most prominent and authoritative figures best interests at heart. However, I'm concerned that these huge and most expensive high top-notch settee makes the king and queen looks miles apart. We also know that this is not the case. Perhaps King Charles could request the two seats come closer together. King Charles, you have the ultimate authority now to do so and I wish you would.
