Had to leave 40mins before the end of the Live and while watching the rest on replay I heard the video suggestion for making new stuff look old. I’m literally doing projects for that now with milk paint 😂 I look forward to seeing how you approach it Sammie! 😊

❤ Can't believe I spaced out on it being Thursday and missed the live! The rolling pins turned out great! The stamped one was my favorite just because "Desperado" wouldn't fit in my decor😊

Both Rolling pinas turned out nice. I prefer the first green color.

The first rolling pin would have been pretty with pink and a black stamp. Loved the one you did though.

I watched the replay! There is so much to comment on but so I don't take over the comment section, I'll speak mainly to the titles of videos/hacks. I would agree with a lot of the others. I think there are some things to keep in mind, words like "high end" or even "hacks" have many interpretations. Some will think you used it appropriately and some will not. Viewers may not understand how hard it is to get into the YT algorithm and the title words seem to matter a lot. I think there are ways of using those popular "key words" while still being true to your content. I think the idea about "hacks on distressing" or something like that is a great idea and a great example. Also there are so many types of DIYs people are looking for. Some want like 5-10 quick DIYs in a video and others are happy with one, more detailed project. Some want simple, cheap and easy to find supplies and others are happy investing in more expensive products. I clearly haven't figured out the trick 😂 but have been thinking a lot about this. Try some things out and see what works. And what works once, unfortunately won't necessarily work the next time. 😂🤷🏻‍♀ I did enjoy listening to this though! Wish I was there chatting live. ☺

A hack to me means a alternative to the way you currently do it, that is either cheaper, easier or better.

One reason why your views may have dropped is your style has changed so much. You used to do mostly Dollar Tree, wood rounds and Cricut and now you do mainly IOD transfers, molds, thrifted items and specialty paints. It's not a bad thing, it's just different. I can't afford to do the things you do now, but I still love to watch your videos, just for you! Muah!
