The video contains a discussion of the Live Loads based on NSCP 2015 and how to use the NSCP Table 205-1 to solve live load problems.
Example Problem 1:
The floor of a light storage warehouse is made of 150-mm-thick lightweight plain concrete. If the floor is a slab having a length of 7 m and width of 3 m, determine the resultant force, in kN, caused by the dead load and live load.
Example Problem 2:
The floor system of a gymnasium (movable seats) consists of a 130-mm thick concrete slab resting on four steel beams (A=9,100 〖mm〗^2) that, in turn, are supported by two steel girders (A=25,600 〖mm〗^2), as shown in the figure. Illustrate the live loads acting on:
a. beam BF
b. girder AD
