Education on tough angling , all match anglers will benefit greatly . Just shows how it can be, another day 15 ounce . But it is real fishing , evesham looks rock hard , its been really well fished . Another peg another day another win .

Thanks for watching Ian, shame it was so tough and lots I could have done differently in hindsight. Maybe loose fed and baitdroppered maggot and no groundbait would've been better? I stopped on and chucked a maggot feeder by the way but only caught tiny chublets.

@@JonArthur Clive Branson does Evesham and he tries your alternatives , he's not done well also . Pole for me is superior to Rod and line because of presentation especially for quality fish. I've noticed James Robbins is a pole man and will fish very long , his team work together and it is a huge advantage to pool information as you know.

Lot of flow on the inside on this peg. If it's not moving I'd pot it in, but a baitdropper guarantees accuracy in flowing water.

I congratulate you for your efforts on a river which is clearly a total cess pit.any anglers thinking of fishing the Avon should head for the middle Severn.the Avon is finished and a complete waste of a river,needs filling in
