Live MATCH FISHING on the RIVER TEES Bowesfield

Its Northern River Masters Qualifier 6 and we're headed to the lower River Tees at Bowesfield to try and do the business.
There have been some very good weights off the River Tees in recent weeks and with a draw a Preston Park I was hopeful of finding a few of the resident skimmers and fingers crossed, getting that much sought after zone win to qualify for the final on the River Calder later in the year.
The plan for this one was to focus on the feeder fishing for skimmers on a line down the middle but also have one ready to go across. I clipped up 2 feeder rods, one at 30m and the other at 51m. A backup line at 11m on the pole would be my only other option.
In this match fishing video, I cover off the rigs, hookbaits and feeding approach and all the decisions I make and reasoning for them throughout the course of match.

Great video, I fish the river tees alot and been a local.... Sounds crazy but stay away from groundbait that's light in colour.... Change to dark green and use vitalin dog feed with a binder....Vitalin works awesome on bomb only' I never use the feeder because the groundbaits gone before hitting the bed rock...Best of luck buddy for your next session...Really enjoyed this video sharing the good and the bad is what it's all about.. 😊

Another well filmed video. My Mrs often asks why I don't fish the river when we are in Stockton-on-Tees visiting, so got her to watch the video she now understands why. You've got to like river fishing to continue after day's like that.

Yes oop North for me Tony. Think I was just in bad part of the zone, the fish seem to be in pockets on the Tees but then that's true of most rivers, you need to draw well ✅
