In this video you follow me through an Open Match on Covey 4 at Partridge Lakes Fishery. Filmed on one of the hottest days of the year so far with temperatures upto 30 degrees will the F1s and Carp feed?

These are comfortably the best live match videos on youtube, the level of technical detail, commentary and quality of the camera coverage in just next level. The Map winning ways ones were very good to but they are now behind a paywall. Not suggesting you should start charging but i'd pay for these if they were regular enough.

6 pints Casters, Groundbait,Pellets and Maggots. 25 quids worth of bait. Plus peg fee. Bit expensive unless you win.

Always good,under shotted rig going under the tree worked excellently compared to me tangled in the bushes with really stretch elastic. Just a quick one what top was you wearing to combat the heat of the sun

When you fishing shallow at 18inch or so deep are you catching them as the rig falls through the water or when it settles ?
@jaypurshouse36962 жыл бұрын
The water is very green, would that indicate loads of weed underneath or maybe a water dye? Not seen it that green very often

Hi Kristian, hope you can help, im fishing a 13mtr snake lake with mainly 3 to 10lb carp & its hard fished water , im seeing lots of signs of carp in peg but getting them to feed is a nightmare, as im sure they wait till we go, or they have already fed up on prior matches, how would you go about tackling a venue like this, any tips to get them feeding, thanks in advance Steve

Gone a bit quiet recently on here which is a shame as the content was brilliant.

Do you use micro or mini bands for all your caster work
@kristianjonesangling3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jason. I just use the Drennan Mini bands for all my banded hooklengths
@Ynwa503 жыл бұрын
@@kristianjonesangling I guess micro bands no good for casters then
@kristianjonesangling3 жыл бұрын
You can get a caster in a micro band but I just find it more efficient to use a mini one
@Ynwa503 жыл бұрын
@@kristianjonesangling yeah done a load of hooks with micro bands need to do a load now with mini ones

Sorry mate standard rule should be at least 6-8 inches from dacron to float and at least 6-8 inches from float to hook. This is just unacceptable in matches imo and should not be allowed by any fishery. Cant fish under the trees or in the far bank hole? TOUGH SHIT. Standardised format nationwide on every match IMO. Just my opinion but great footage and video. Too much advantage to anglers with top lvl poles that have stiffness at longer ranges.
