I think it's also that they allow more height variation between Paras, so they need to test a variety of different actions to make sure the animation system works across the board.

Looks so realistic but like in a cartoony realistic way like early Disney movies. I think the addition of hair physics adds to it. I’m mesmerized. Excellent job!

One thing i notice when i walk... i look around, a lot. i dont just stare straight ahead, like a robot. You should consider making it so the character looks at other characters, or random objects in the room etc. while they walk from A to B. to make it feel more natural. Other than that, of course, it looks great

I think it's probably easy for details you might be proud of to go unnoticed by eyes of non-experts in this type of art and work but even when us with those eyes can't quite put our finger on what makes it so good, we can still feel it. I love how natural these actions are, they aren't super cartoony (which is some people preferences, but personally not my own). They're so smooth & it's just amazing to see this game progress thanks to the amazing team behind it. I can't personally donate right now, but I thank everyone who can - I mean, just look at the results so far! This game is proving to be something I've really only wished for.

Sims developers set the bar so low that people will cheer anything. Animations look okay but they'll fall flat if the mood won't carry through other interactions and idle look of the character. Imagine it playing sad animation only to get back to idle face expression after it happens (like in this video).

that's exactly my thought, or like. the first ("sobbing") i would actually describe as weeping, whereas the second ("crying") i probably would describe as crying.... unless the voice has like, sobbing. it looks like it could be a soft sob or a hard cry, if that makes sense.

I covered the left corner to guess the emotions based off the animations and it's really really awesome that you can actually tell how they are feeling just by looking at them. I'm so in love with this!

Kinda want to see certain personalities get specific animations. Like a strict personality shows anger differently than a joyful personality; just to make interactions a bit more unique. Obviously it’d be a nightmare to come up with something unique emotional actions for ALL personalities, but it’d be a great for specific emotions. Either way, this looks great! I’m gonna be on the edge of my seat until the beta comes out.

I hope they have effects also. Like you can actually see tears or l when they work out you can see sweat. Idk if it’s a lot to ask for. Just saw mods have it for the sims. It’s nice having little details like that. Or when they get flirty they blush. The animations are amazing though.❤
