Regarding the TikTok psychic and similar defamation cases where the offending party continues their slander/libel after the court has found against them and ordered them to stop, I think that at some point it needs to cross over into contempt of court or some similar charge that results in actual punishment, such as jailtime. Otherwise, people like her would have no reason to follow court orders or cease their offending conduct.

If the offending party is ordered to stop, there are consequences to continuing. However, the Court must issue that order. In a civil context, that is called "injunctive relief." Since an order like that limits a fundamental right (here, speech), courts are hesitant to impose it. However, recent case law holds that an injunction can be an appropriate remedy if there are monetary damages. The thought is that, if a judgment has a price tag, a settlement contract is constitutional. Estoppel is one of the classic considerations in contract law. "I will not do X, in return for Y." The Tik Tok Psychic could enter such an agreement in exchange for the million-plus dollars she owes. She can be forced into it, too; but there is like a six-prong test. I think this qualifies, but the Court may not opt for that.

as part of this first case the professor needs to get the court to issue a permanent injunction against tiktok psychic. if the Psychic tries to continue defaming the professor it needs to be treated as direct contempt and result in jail time starting with 30 to 60 days at a time. if she doesn't get the message after than then it just needs to keep increasing. let her spend time in jail until she understands.

11:15 My very first real job was putting up Christmas lights at the Toledo zoo. Their lights are so good. They compete with the rest of the country for best lights and have won for many years! I highly recommend this job for parents wondering what their kids should do if they don't want them to get into fast food and (no judgement but) being in that atmosphere! My bosses were great. I got to be outside everyday and work with big machinery, And basically make art with Christmas lights that the entire city and state were going to enjoy. It was the best job. I actually stayed on after the Christmas lighting season and got into horticulture which allowed me to work inside almost all of the animal exhibits including the wolves and big cats, cutting grass and maintaining their homes. I loved working with my bosses Because they knew absolutely every single plant that was in each exhibit. And they truly and I mean truly cared about each animal. They were about education and preservation through their bones and it was an amazing experience!!! Come to Toledo Ohio and see the lights at the zoo which start November 22nd 2024! I know I'll be going... and making sure they're doing just as good of a job as I did in 2010😂

The fact that continues to strike me is that the Tik Tok Psychic (Investigator, Witness, etc.) only needed to present some factual basis to have a defense. It's too late for that, so this isn't instructive. But still. She could have said "My spiritual intuition led me to discover {something}" and she would have had something *substantial* .
