One day their backstage meetings will just consist of purely caveman grunts. Uhn? Mmm!
@timbeaton50453 жыл бұрын
I would say Simple, rather than Primitive. I'm so far away from this class of musician, but with what i DO know about music "theory" i find it incredibly frustrating to work with those who have no idea about it. You have to take ages to explain simple things, and when you DO get to play with better people than oneself, it becomes almost frictionless to get ideas across. Shame there is so much antipathy to the words "Music Theory" amongst many musicians.
@cypherusuh3 жыл бұрын
Reminds me of that Jacob Collier explaining 5 level of music concept. It starts out with human language with a bit of piano twinkle, ended up with just winking, some "ah that" and a lot of keyboard wizardry.

My band played last week and the week before to wild crowds. It was so much fun. The first was at a beer festival where you are typically background for the party. We were busy getting set up, heads down, and our singer said to the crowd, "I was told we were going to be background music. I guess we'd better not fuck up!" I look out and row of people are IN SEATS watching us at a beer festival! They were so hungry for a rock show. It was wonderful. The next we opened for a pretty big band, Royal Bliss, and the place was packed and totally insane! Just a few hundred people, but such energy. I'm so glad we're able to perform again, and I sure hope the excitement doesn't fade away.
