HELLO LIVING FELT! Brenda from Northern Ca here, first timer to Wooly Wednesday & im so EXCITED...after quite some time viewing your you tube demos- to finally have the opportunity to participate 😄 I especially love this owl project! Wonderful idea using glass eyes!, will sure add that extra 'sparkle' on the tree!!! Are the eyes something you normally carry in stock? &do you have different sizes? I'm thinking a little 'owl-family' would be super FUN!!! Kindly, Brenda Hodges

Started felting about a month ago after finding and watching your videos. I have felted 12 miniature pictures. But after seeing this little fellow I will be making him. He has a lovely face, especially his little beak. A lot of helpful info in all your videos.

Thank you for your guidance Marie; you are such a gracious teacher. I learn something each time I watch. I love how you used the merino fiber around the face for texture and the shading on the wings.

This was so fun to watch! I liked the method of putting the beak on upside down and flipping it up. sandwiching the felt in between two business cards was a cool trick too! I look forward to trying this on the weekend! Look forward to next week! Cant wait to see some wet felting. I need all the tips :)

What a fantastic return felt along! My take away was how you made the beak by wrapping it around the needle and placing it at the base of the nose bridge. Also how you added the lines across the wings and snipping them to make them look more natural! Love this! Thank you!!

Oh wow, this is an amazing tutorial. I’ve been looking for an owl kit or video but they are all very basic. Yours looks more like an actual owl. I’m so grateful, sending thank you hugs from the UK. 💕💕

My grandmother collected owls. She would've loved this one! My fave takeaway is the wings and how to attach the ribbon hanger. It'll come in handy when I start creating my ornaments.

I have a woodland themed tree that I put up for the winter--it needs a barn owl--so cute! I've always wondered about felting feathers--thanks for the wonderful tutorial! I missed the live show and was glad I could watch it later and catch the Wednesday Joke as well as all the "owl-y" puns!

Marie, I LOVE this little owl. Of course I've got to be different and make at least one in either blue or lavender. My daughter loves owls and puts them on her tree so I think for her birthday in 2 weeks she will get 4 owl ornaments for her Christmas tree. Still having difficulty with wrapping wool since my surgery 3 weeks ago, but I've still gotta try making them.

I've made two already! One turned about about 3 inches too long! :-)...the second one turned out much better after receiving the template for the sizes of the under body! I'm going to give one to my mother-in-law because she loves owls. I gave her a fantasy owl from a previous Woolly Wednesday and she loved it! THANKS so much Marie and the fairies. I don't know how you guys keep up with it! I have a hard time keeping up with the Woolly Wednesdays!

What a wonderful and long video thank you. my family doesn't put up a tree anymore but I feel so inspired to finish my projects after watching you work. I am almost done with my first toad because I was able to enjoy the video and work at the same time. How you attached the ribbon was something I never thought of I would have tried to build in a wire loop but I love your idea more, I'm going to have to keep that in mind for a future project. Have you guys ever done a toad/frog project?

Hello ❤ A couple of questions: - Do the needles get dull? How often should you replace them? - Do you prefer 36 over 32? What would be the difference between 36 triangle and 38 star and 38 sprial, because you recommended you can either use 36 triangle or 38 star? 😊🥰

Love me the MC1 fiber. Does the color ever fade in the sun? Not sure how much direct light they can handle and how I should protect the little guys I make. I love placing my felted objects on window sills....
