Senate Confirmation Hearings: Pam Bondi was chosen by President-elect Donald Trump to be the Attorney General. Bondi has been the attorney general of Florida under Ron DeSantis. Bondi will appear before a Senate committee on Wednesday morning.
Dozens of former Justice Department (DOJ) officials sent a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee Monday urging confirmation of President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for attorney general, Pam Bondi, later this month- praising both her commitment to the rule of law and her track record as Florida’s former attorney general that they said makes her uniquely qualified for the role.
The letter, previewed exclusively to Fox News Digital, was signed by more than 110 senior Justice Department officials who served under both Democratic and Republican administrations, including former U.S. attorneys general John Ashcroft, Jeff Sessions, Bill Barr and Edwin Meese.
Former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, deputy attorneys general Rod Rosenstein and Jeffrey Rosen, and Randy Grossman, who served as the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of California under the Biden administration, are among the other notable signatories.

Pam Bondi was outstanding at this hearing. After listening to the nitwit Democrats and witnessing the abysmal state of affairs in certain sanctuary cities and states, how could Americans in their right minds vote for someone like Adam Schiff or how could Gavin Newsom survive a recall election?!? During the Bondi hearing, I noticed something very flaky with the cameraman NOT focusing in on most the Democrats. While a Republican is speaking, the focus is close in, when a Democrat is speaking, the focus is zoomed far out enclosing all members of the committee. Again, this is not for all Democrats, but for a large number of them. This is flaky!!! Change the cameraman for Day 2, or his supervisor who gave the instruction!!! Lest you baulk, I am Conservative in my views. At <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="317">5:17</a>:43, there is NO reason for the cameraman to focus on Blackburn, when just prior and after Bondi's response, it is the Democrat Senator who is speaking!!! This is truly daft!! Near the end Schiff is speaking, and I am NO fan of Schiff, at all! YET, the cameraman focuses on Hawley sitting on the far left!!!! Really??? What a clown of a cameraman!!
