Hey Christine, great video! Thanks so much by starting out taking a look at the Crow's Nest project! You are the best 🙂 From what I read, using the stairs will be free and it will only be one way. I can't remember which, but you'll either walk down then take the elevator up or take the elevator down and then walk up. I'm assuming it will be walk down the stairs then elevator up. It will be a lot less physically demanding for everyone to walk down the stairs compared to walking up. Glad you mentioned Minnie and that she is doing well. I was happy to hear that!! 🙂 I believe they divert a significant amount of water flowing over the Falls in the winter. That's why the water level in the River was so noticeably low. When I was there in February and did The Tunnel walk, I mentioned to the attendant the one rock was almost completely above water and that only the tip was sticking out when I was there the prior May. She said that is because they divert much more in the winter to produce electricty. Interesting how noticeable it is. Have a great week!! 🇨🇦

Hi Tom. Your very welcome! I enjoy seeing what they are doing across the river with the crows nest project. I’m glad you mentioned it’s still going to be free to walk the stairs! I remember trying to walk there in a video and I couldn’t get close because the spray from the mist was too overpowering lol…I got soaked but I had fun trying. Minnie is doing really well thankfully! She’s very perky and playful and loves her walks! It makes sense about the water diverting , I was just surprised how low it looked to me. Great pictures of the American fall's stair project, also later on of the hotel skyline. Jersey girl was discussing the Marriott that was formerly the Sheraton Fallsview, on the ground floor when you walked into the back left was a restaurant called La Piazza , they had good food and very reasonable. I noticed when you were doing a tour up by the hotels the other evening that it was very windy, My experience staying at the falls view from 1997 -2006 was that it is always windy up there. The first time staying at the Sheraton was in 1997, years later they added an addition to the top, those rooms tend to be smaller, having stayed in the addition, I would not repeat staying there. Thanks for another great tour, all of us out here appreciate the effort !
