Aa a Pole who moved here when I was 10, assimilation is crazy important. My high-school, made up of 1500 kids, had only 5 eastern Europeans, 2 Africans and around 3 Muslims. Ofc it was sometimes tough but I'm grateful for being able to grow up in such environment. Just 15 miles down the A10, where you had big groups of Lithuanians and Portuguese speaking kids, even after 10 years, they can't speak English fluently. Thank you for waking up Britain.
