KFC Gravy if he had warrants the cop would have followed up after looking up the address. That guy simply didn’t want to be harassed anymore by the police so he lawfully refused to produce an Id. You can tell the officer didn’t like it because he proceeded to move to the back of the house to guilt trip his sister saying “ your brother obviously doesn’t realize I’m cutting him a break here”. Which he wasn’t. He said it wasn’t past noise violation time so as long as he turned it down when asked, nothing could be done. The guy knew that, the cop knew that, that’s why the cop got some defensive when the guy shut the door in his face.

I’ve witnessed it happening first hand, in a small town of about 4,000…in southern IL. Back in 2018, the police were called for an unwanted subject. It was in an apartment with a small gathering of about eight people. One of the officers (there were two) asked one male subject to have a seat and sit tight while he went back to his squad car for something…the male subject first sat down for a few minutes then he got up and walked back inside of the apartment and closed the door behind him. The officer then got out of his squad a few minutes later, approached the door and knocked on the door asking for the male subject to come back outside. I literally could not believe what I was witnessing.
