Yeah, "amazing" how he talked himself around getting arrested for a crime that potentially could risk the life of other third parties. And before you say "well, a little bit of weed won't make you crash your car" sure, but what if that little weed at some point turns into a lot of weed, something that can happen very fast with addicts? And then you drive as you did after "just" smoking a bit, you have an accident and someone dies? It always baffles me how people react to drunk driver vs. high driver.

benda thebest only because he didn’t admit to smoking. Him and the cop knew he had smoked and was dui but there wasn’t enough evidence just based on eye twitches to charge him with dui. I’m sure the cops wouldn’t be able to force him not to drive away, they just made it seem like a lawful order not to drive after when it was technically a suggestion. If he wasn’t legally allowed to drive away then he would have been arrested for dui.

First time I smoked weed I almost got into an accident that very well could have killed me. Maybe it's not bad to drive under the influence of weed after you've smoked for a long time and gained a tolerance, but if you don't have that tolerance it is incredibly impairing to drive like that. And the way the law works, if weed can impair driving abilities for some but not for others due to tolerance levels then it is illegal for all to drive that way.

The answer is that there is no good way to do that. Therefore, driving under the influence of weed, period, is illegal. Same reason that certain laws made for the elderly have to be followed by everyone.
