Here is the unfortunate truth. Public perception is stronger than most peoples will to form their own opinions. While I understand what you are saying, it definitely goes the other way as well. Tbh, I'm hearing a lot of pressure online now to like this game. For some reason the internet has opinions that go back and forth to one extreme to the other. There is rarely a genuine mix of opinions. I wish I could simply say the game is not for me without being lumped in with a group hating on the game because it is the majority opinion. I have gamed for 25+ years and know what kinds of games I like based on the footage I've seen. I shouldn't be pressured to buy the game and guilt tripped because others like it. I get wanting to defend a game you enjoy though. I just hate online discourse. Everyone just parrots each other. I'm not saying you are doing this. If you enjoy the game, please play and enjoy it. Life is too short.

The dialog is constant, and trivial. Eccessive overlapping dialog. Literally gave me a headache. All of the effects around the screen hurts. The writting honestly physically hurts.

Glad I watched this, thanks. I've seen a lot of positive impressions the past day that give me hope, but you still point out some flaws - even ones we already knew, and ones that aren't unique to SS (common bleh live service design elements). Your bugs/crashes aside, it still seems worth a "decide on my own" purchase. I plan to buy it on Steam and hopefully make a firm decision in under 2 hours lol.

It sucks for how for many co-op focused games that have come out recently, none have been definitive buys outside of indie games; Payday 3, Redfall, SS. . . I've been desperate for something new for me and my friends to play outside of whatever we've been playing for the past however many years. I'm honestly just so sick of playing the billionth grounded, military-esque shooter. And for the story, if it really is just 9 hours, that's fine as long as the replayability is actually worthwhile like Borderlands 2 where you can replay at higher levels and better equipment against good bosses.

I was excited about this due to Rocksteady and my favorite Batman performance. The online shooter thing completely killed that. This is probably going to hurt Rocksteady and I hate that. I think MK will be next. I stopped with MK after it advertised MK11 on the title screen of XL when 11 WAS ALREADY INSTALLED , changed the online store to screw people over after reviews hit, made the Krypt lootboxes, and made an Internet connection required for practice mode progression. Killed one of my favorite series, but my tolerance for that trash is pretty low. Unlike the FGC. Anyway, I was shocked that they just let HP be a game. Seems like the kind of thing WB would make a "service" or "platform." As soon as I learn WB is publishing, I expect shenanigans, and I can see them getting a lot of studios shuttered.

My problem with this game is that if the Justice League were to be killed, it won't be by these four... And I know that's the whole deal with the Suicide Squad, bunch of 'nobody's' doing cool / not expected stuff, but these four killing the JL? No way. Other than that, I won't be playing the game, because a shooter like this is not my kind of game. Watched all the cutscenes now though, didn't want to miss the story😋

The prices are cheap compared to the over priced outfits in Diablo IV. There's probably $1,000 worth of crap in there and we both refused to pay for any of that. My wife and I enjoyed the couple hours we played tonight. No connection or disconnect issues.

The gameplay dies a thousand deaths behind all the screen elements and effects. It looks like a few hours of good and mindless entertaining fun though. Gotta look up if the hud is customizable. Maybe buying it in a few years, if it dropped to an adequate price.

The best part of this stream was Luke somewhat enjoying and defending this game and his audience still hyper fixated on how dead on arrival it is….while he’s actively playing it.
