It is very noticeable and self evident the lack of reverence for the sacrifice of the Holy Mass and the Most Holy Sacrament here in the United States and in many other parts of the world by the laity. How sad. Then we wonder why so many doubt the true presence and lack faith in the Church itself.

This is the Altar of the United Nations. The bishops entered the Altar to music that sounded like the Imperial March from Star Wars. Some of them took photos, unbelievable! The topic of the homily was predictable...FRATERNITY! The people are called to "realize the HOLY UTOPIA OF FRATERNITY" (read R.Benson's "Ruler of the World!" Everything is being fulfilled, just like the prophecies of MARY CRYING BLOOD TEARS!

@@maranatharabbuni I’m not criticizing the Holy Father or the Bishops. They’re the magisterium and I submit to them as they are overseeing the Church. I can count the times I’ve heard a great homily and music at Mass has not been that great so it’s also a nonissue to me. Mass is for and about God and the Eucharist. My issue is with the Catholics wearing baseball caps and hats during Holy Mass. It’s the people chasing after the camera while Jesus is being worshipped and is present there. It’s the people going to receive Holy Communion that look lost and like it’s their first time, texting during Mass. No reverent bow before their turn. Not knowing how to receive it in the hand and how to consume it. The clergy is one thing but the laity… the laity exudes ignorance and lack of reverence. It’s on record in the video here and I see lots of this every Sunday at Mass. We don’t seem to take seriously what we say we believe!

It is quite easy to be a populist, to talk about love, compassion and help and not offer anything concrete to ensure that these calls are actually implemented. Unlike Pope Francis, who does not have to practically solve the problems of refugees, European heads of state find themselves in a very difficult position when they try to take into account both the interests of refugees and the population of their country. The possibilities of hospitality and help are not endless, and this is hardly fair trying to make helping some at the expense of others the norm. In principle, the help is indeed real when helping those who are already doing everything possible to help themselves. It is probably wiser to help improving life in the countries, where the population is trying to migrate in search of a “better” life, than to try to look “good” and actually stimulate illegal emigration at the expense of European taxpayers.
