Out-coached phenomenally. No effective plan to deal with huge disadvantage of Kansas bigger O linemen. Thats the whole story. When you see the All 22s you will see what those 340-lb Kansas O-line were doing, not only in trench but at second level and downfield. Hodge would not be an answer to that size advantage. They were slinging Shilo around like a rag doll. What could he do against 6'4 340 mobile O linemen? Thats why "no punts, no stops."

This isn’t pat shurmur offense I have watched all 22 on pats offenses in New York and Denver. He utilizes tight ends more and more run concepts. The truth that nobody wants to say(except for tcal&CT) is this is coach prime offense going back to his trinity days in Texas high school(a ton of screens, hitches, and occasional fades to draw PI calls by the refs) he really needs to take a CEO approach similar to harbaugh, cignetti, smart.
@torlandmusiq2 күн бұрын
@v.i.b.e.s1282 I agree 💯. He is evolving with us all. Prime is smart enough to realize what's happening and grow as a coach. TE are necessary for a robust run game and play action will allow routes to develop and keep defense guessing. People learn the most thru adversity.
@v.i.b.e.s12822 күн бұрын
@ that’s the thing tho bro prime doesn’t have to create the schemes or over see the offense. The whole point of bringing shurmur in was to have a pro OC that consistently put out correct personnel and implement a scheme that makes the most out of the ELITE speed that this team has the man is spreading out his receivers only to throw screens and desperate scramble drill throws to Travis when we are on 3rd and long🤦🏾♂️ he needs to fall back and let pat run his own scheme or juju will be hitting the transfer portal mid season next year
@Rilla2512 күн бұрын
Finally!! The only thing Pat Shurmur did was add a few of his concepts to Coach Prime Offense.... I've done the homework, went back, and watched some of Trinity games.

As we all adjust to this new Big 12, we have to pay close attention to who each team is playing. By the end of the season KU will have played 8 of the top 9 teams in the conference while CU beat up on the bottom of the league. I actually think Deion is a great coach in the this new era of college football and can really see his growth as a coach from last year to this year. He'll find a good, if not great, RB to come to CU and make his team multi-dimentsinal. CU's run D killed them tonight and you're still a scary team even without the threat of a run game.. Imagine how scary you'd be with a run game.

You can’t win when you get bullied in the trenches. Horrible loss. A few guys draft stocks got killed last night. And they have no one to blame but themselves. Coaches, players, everyone is at fault. You’d think a game like this would have the guys coming out playing the hardest they’ve played all year… smh. Oklahoma State is gonna be a rough game if they don’t make some major corrections this week.

I'll say this... during the spring I said 8 - 4 is a respectable turnaround. It still is with a bowl invitation coming. That said though, given what could've been, an invitational bowl win would feel like a participation trophy now... #gutted

PATT SHUMER HAS TO GO.! He does not know how to run a offense, he does not have a Run Scheme at all, he does not know how to get a offense in a groove, he called two run place in the 4th Quarter when we needed to score fast wasting time on the Clock. Coach Prime needs to be looking for a new Offensive Coordinator this offseason.

Too many bandwagoner pods. I'll be interested to get your analysis of the all 22 and evaluate Cobee's game simply because within two minutes you said Shaudeur didn't have deep balls on scrambles and then said Cobee had a terrible game. Us KU fans love Cobee and Melo. Wondering if KU CBs ablity to hold their own downfield was the cause of that. Thank for your being real instead of hype machines.

Coach can't say what the real reason was, for this total loss. If he said it, it could affect an invite to the Playoffs. This strong loss was from huge size difference between Kansas OL and Colorado Dline. 290 vs 350 lbs. Its the same thing that makes the SEC better...the biggest talented recruits. Same kind of loss against Nebraska. Size .
@carlagreene55983 күн бұрын

@stoneriverpub3 күн бұрын
@@jeannettefox3496 As much as I want Colorado to win it all, intelligence just can't see Colorado winning against Alabama, Georgia, etc. And that's not because of the skilled positions. I put Shedeur against any SEC quarterback. Same for Colorado receivers . Its the "size" thing in the trenches. Same reality Coach Sanders pointed out with last years smaller trench players. We got better this year, but not there yet, in SIZE, in both trenches.
