Allah SWT has given us 2 Eids in a year. To call this event an ‘Eid’ is an innovation. We need to hold on to the rope of Allah which is the Quran and the authentic Sunnah. As our beloved Prophet said in his last sermon, our deen is complete, and nothing can be added to it. Even though their intention is good to inspire the youth, we need to be careful not to get into acts of ‘bidah’ in the process and earn Allah’s anger, for as it is repeated in every jumuah khutbah, every ‘bidah’ leads to the fire.

The two eids generally celebrated are not religious terms but arabic terms. Eid in Arabic means festive, festivity, holiday etc. So you can call PROPHET's(pbuh) birthday eid. Also in the quran no terms such as eid ul fitr or eid ul Adha are used. Eid is used just once in the Quran in sura Al Mai'da where Jesus (a.s) asks Allah for food from heaven for his companions. Different Muslim countries celebrate multiple other festivals that ate called eid such as eid e nowruz which mainly just mean festival of nowruz.
