It's not that time consuming (I assume). A lot of animators have pre-drawn mouths that they put in for sounds, which I assume Alastair does. As for the avatar itself, I personally prefer the old avatar, but if he had more body movement, I feel I could get used to it.

Hi Al, I read the des cuz of your avatar and honestly I liked your old one, I think your old one really had more movement and personality. I also liked the style of your old one. To me, this one just looks like a toy. It looks like it's just made out of plastic and doesn't have as much movement as a result. Glad your expirimenting though, but honestly, the old one looks better.

That lip-synching is... somewhat off. It sorta felt like one of those videos when they have a still image with moving lips on top. It just looks unnatural. Perhaps if the lower jaw moved too, it’d look a bit less uncanny. Also *hype for q’n’a*
